IT Network Project Management

“Hands-On” Project Management
Once an IT network upgrade solution is approved, GHC Technology assigns a project manager to begin implementation. Working with our Chief Technology Officer, the project manager begins to develop a detailed Statement of Work (SOW), highlighting the action steps and timeline.

After the SOW is agreed upon by all parties, the project manager concentrates on accomplishing the network upgrade. The project manager schedules all the resources necessary for successful completion staying within the allocated budget and meeting the timeline. Through frequent communications, the project manager keeps everyone informed of the project’s progress. If something unforeseen occurs, the project manager coordinates the resources needed to get the project back on track.

When the project manager believes all elements are complete, a “punch list” is formulated with the client, identifying any lingering items that may be unresolved on the project. The project manager then assigns resources to complete the punch list and obtains a final approval from the client, indicating the project is complete to their satisfaction.
